Mauro is 78 years old and has never stopped pursuing his dreams. After a life spent sailing, canoeing, on expeditions in the Sahara, fishing, and embarking on solo adventures, he is preparing for the trip he has been planning for years: a four-month journey across Europe in a camper van to explore the northern part of the continent. While friends and family try to talk him out of it, Mauro stubbornly continues to plan his departure, caught between memories of an extraordinary past and a daily life filled with loved ones, rituals, and moments of quiet solitude. As the trip draws near, Mauro keeps looking ahead, determined not to give up on this new dream of his. Perhaps his last.
